At Siam-marketplace , we are firmly committed to reducing the environmental impact of online commerce.

Here is an overview of our initiatives in collaboration with our partners to reduce our environmental footprint while maintaining an exceptional customer experience:

1. Energy optimization of warehouses:

   • We use solar panels in our warehouses to generate 20% of our electricity from renewable sources, thereby reducing our carbon emissions.
   • Various measures have been put in place to monitor and reduce our environmental impact, including an integrated environmental management system, energy efficiency and waste management policies, and awareness programs for our employees.

2. Environmentally friendly packaging solutions:

   • We employ innovative methods to minimize empty space in our packaging, such as the use of 3D packaging machines, thus reducing the volume by an average of 30%.
   • Over 90% of our packaging is made from recycled materials, such as eco-labeled cardboard and kraft paper, with entirely vegetable-based ink.

3. Promotion of alternative transport:

   • We work closely with our transport partners to develop alternative and less carbon-emitting delivery solutions.

4. Carbon offsetting:

   • We support reforestation projects in France through our partnership with Plantons pour l'avenir, thereby offsetting the CO₂ emissions generated by our logistics.
   • In addition, we invest in preserving forests near our warehouses in Spain, which helps to absorb the equivalent of 97 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year.
